Die Stahlwerk Bous GmbH, ein Mitglied der deutschen GMH Gruppe, hat INTECO mit der Modernisierung ihrer bestehenden 70t-Vakuumentgasungsanlage beauftragt.
Im Mittelpunkt dieses neuen Auftrags steht der Umwelt- und Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke. Durch die Installation einer neuen mechanischen Vakuumpumpe wird der gasbefeuerte Kessel für die Dampfstrahlvakuumpumpe stillgelegt, wodurch der CO2-Ausstoß zur Vakuumerzeugung auf null reduziert wird. Die Installation der Vakuumpumpe umfasst auch einen Zyklon sowie einen Vakuumfilter, welche die Einhaltung der Emissionsgrenzen garantieren.
Modernisierungen wie diese sind dank der innovativen Technologie von INTECO ein weiterer Schritt in Richtung Dekarbonisierung der Stahlindustrie.
Zusätzlich zur Lieferung der mechanischen Pumpeneinheit wird die gesamte Elektrik und Automatisierung erneuert, sowie die IMAS-PA-VD Level 2 Softwarelösung von INTECO installiert. Auch hier spielt das Thema Nachhaltigkeit eine große Rolle. Durch den Einsatz modernster Entgasungstechnologie in Kombination mit neuen innovativen Prozessmodellen und Systemen werden Behandlungszeit und Energieverbrauch reduziert. Darüber hinausa bieten das Automatisierungskonzept und IMAS von INTECO dem Anlagenbediener optimale Führung durch den kompletten Schmelzprozess.
INTECO unterstreicht mit diesem Auftrag einmal mehr seine Vormachtstellung in der Sekundärmetallurgie für die Hersteller von Spezialstahl.

INTECO enhances environmental sustainability at Stahlwerk Bous GmbH, a member of the German GMH Group, by modernizing its existing 70t vacuum degassing plant.
The primary focus of this recent order is on environmental responsibility and sustainability. Through the installation of a new mechanical vacuum pump, the gas-fired boiler used for the steam jet vacuum pump will be retired, resulting in zero CO2 emissions during vacuum generation. Additionally, the installation of the vacuum pump includes a cyclone and a vacuum filter to ensure compliance with emission limits.
INTECO’s cutting-edge technology facilitates such modernizations, marking a significant stride towards the decarbonization of the steel industry.
Alongside the provision of the mechanical pump unit, the entire electrical and automation system will undergo renewal, and INTECO’s IMAS-PA-VD Level 2 software solution will be integrated. Sustainability remains a central theme throughout these upgrades. The incorporation of state-of-the-art degassing technology, coupled with innovative process models and systems, will reduce treatment time and energy consumption. Furthermore, INTECO’s automation concept and IMAS offer optimal guidance to the plant operator throughout the melting process.
