With much pleasure, we would like to inform you that in May 2015 INTECO acquired 70 % of shares as well as all intellectual property rights from the engineering company SPT Swedish Process Technology AB, located in Falun, Sweden.
SPT has a long time history and expertise in the field of ingot casting technology and has made a fair share of contributions to today’s state of the art technology:
- Complete solutions for advanced teeming systems including logistic studies
- Multi-functional transfer car for plate, mould, trumpet and ingot transfer
- Brick laying station including Bricklaying robot with pin-point accuracy
- New stripping solutions by use of mobile crane (hydraulic stripping)
- Grinding machine for offshore mooring chains
- Flexible scrap loading system
- PUS –Production and maintenance system
The combination with INTECO’s worldwide experience and the know how of its professional steelmakers and engineering specialists guarantees innovative technology and advanced design including:
- Advanced mechanical and process parameters
- Latest electrical & automation functions fully integrated with mechanical process issues
- Customized solutions for each need
- Tight integration of all functional steel plant units
Furthermore please acknowledge that SPT has become part of the INTECO Group with its new name: INTECO SPT swedish process technology AB and also will be the prime contact for Scandinavia for all production processes offered by the INTECO Group.
